Position Summary:
As a Supervisor in our Indian cloud kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the kitchen. Your role will involve managing the kitchen staff, maintaining quality and hygiene standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your leadership and coordination skills will contribute to the success of our cloud kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Oversee and coordinate daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing levels to meet demand.
Staff Management:
Supervise and guide kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, helpers, and dishwashers.
Assign tasks, provide training, and monitor performance to maintain a high-performing team.
Quality Control:
Ensure that food items are prepared and presented according to established standards and recipes.
Conduct regular quality checks to maintain consistency and adherence to quality guidelines.
Inventory Management:
Monitor ingredient levels, coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries, and maintain optimal stock levels.
Minimize waste and manage inventory rotation to ensure freshness of ingredients.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and cleanliness.
Conduct regular inspections and training to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
Customer Service:
Address customer concerns and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor customer feedback and take appropriate actions to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
Training and Development:
Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, hygiene practices, and customer service.
Identify training needs and organize training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Shift Management:
Organize work schedules and shift rotations to ensure adequate staffing during peak and non-peak hours.
Monitor attendance and manage breaks to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Menu Execution:
Ensure accurate and timely execution of menu items.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to maintain efficiency and consistency in food preparation.
Cleaning and Sanitation:
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Implement and enforce cleaning schedules and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a supervisor or team leader in a kitchen or food service environment.
In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, cooking techniques, and flavors.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of health and safety regulations and food hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per the kitchen's operational needs.
