Welcome to HotelJobber.com! By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About HotelJobber

HotelJobber.com is a hotel staffing job portal in India. We connect hotel employers with potential staff, facilitating the hiring process through our platform and mobile app. Our mission is to streamline hotel staffing by providing a convenient and efficient job portal for the hotel industry.

2. What HotelJobber Doesn't Do

  • HotelJobber does not provide direct staff.
  • HotelJobber does not give any assurance of staff.
  • HotelJobber does not conduct interviews for staff.

3. Responsibilities HotelJobber Does Not Take

  • If you give money to any staff and they don’t show up.
  • If anyone damages your valuables.
  • If anyone steals something from your property.

In all such cases, you can file a police complaint.

4. What HotelJobber Does

  • HotelJobber is a hotel job portal.
  • Once you post your requirement or job, it gets displayed on our website and the candidates' app "HotelJobber Jobs."
  • HotelJobber promotes your requirements on the app, WhatsApp, and social media platforms. It spreads through our staff network so that candidates can contact you via call, SMS, or WhatsApp.

5. Responsibilities of Employers

  • Conduct a telephonic interview.
  • Verify the candidate’s profile.
  • Complete a police verification.
  • Do not give any advance money to anyone before joining.
  • Contact candidates and take a telephonic interview.
  • Check profiles and contact hotel staff for a telephonic interview.
  • If you hire hotel staff from the HotelJobber app, you must check all the ID cards, maintain a copy of them in your records, and immediately do the police verification of that candidate within 24 hours.
  • If your call is not connected or you are not satisfied with the candidate's profile, you can submit a report to the admin.

6. Refund Policy

Important Notes

  1. High-Quality Photographs: Provide promotional photographs on Day 1 for effective marketing.
  2. Salary Offers: Ensure competitive salaries according to market standards:
    • Top-Level Candidates: ₹25,000–₹35,000
    • Mid-Level Candidates: ₹18,000–₹24,000
    • Level 3 Candidates: ₹12,000–₹15,000
  3. Food and Accommodation: Mandatory provision of food and accommodation facilities for staff.
  4. Salary Discussions: Avoid negotiating salaries over the phone. Candidates should attend trials or interviews before salary discussions.
  5. Daily Profile Usage: Unlock and contact at least 20 profiles daily to ensure proper service utilization.
  6. Technical Issues: Report any issues or lack of responses immediately to support@hoteljobber.com.
  7. Role of Hotel Jobber: We promote job requirements to potential hotel staff but do not directly provide staff.
  8. Coordination: Regular communication with the Hotel Jobber support team is mandatory.
  9. No Advance Payments: Do not pay any advance money to candidates until they join and complete their first month of work.
  10. Police Verification: Conduct mandatory police verification for candidates before offering them accommodation.
  11. HotelJobber does not provide refunds if you do not get any staff, there can be many reasons for that.

Deductions & Refund Schedule

  1. Day 1: No deductions for account creation, organization setup, or job postings.
  2. Day 2:
    • ₹500 deducted for broadcasting and listing all jobs on HotJobs.
    • ₹500 deducted for creating posts and promoting on social media.
  3. Days 3 to 6: Daily deduction of ₹300 for job listings and broadcasts on HotJobs.
  4. After Day 7: No refund will be provided.

Refund Claims

Refunds are valid within 7 days from the date of purchase.

Submit refund claims via email to support@hoteljobber.com.

7. Important: Employer and Candidate Must Follow All the Below Points Before Working Together

Commercial Terms for the Employer:

  • The terms of employment must be very clear.
  • The salary must be declared on paper or in an appointment letter.
  • The date of the salary payment must be mentioned.
  • Medical insurance must be sponsored by the employer.
  • Job responsibilities and duties should be clearly outlined in the appointment letter.
  • Working hours, including any overtime policies, should be specified.
  • Leave policies, including annual leave, sick leave, and other types of leave, should be clearly stated.
  • Probation period details, if applicable, should be mentioned.
  • Terms regarding termination of employment, including notice periods, should be specified.
  • Any additional benefits, such as bonuses, accommodation, or transportation, should be clearly mentioned.
  • The steps for resolving disputes, like mediation or arbitration, should be clearly stated.
  • Training and development opportunities provided by the employer should be mentioned.
  • If a candidate is consuming alcohol or any drugs during duty hours, they must be terminated immediately.
  • Before appointing a candidate, take photos of all ID cards (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Residential Address Proof), photographs of the candidate, last working organization, contact numbers of family and friends, and verify these details through calls. Additionally, conduct police verification immediately before providing any accommodation.
  • If you are providing accommodation, inform the police, as the person might be a criminal or someone they are searching for. Providing accommodation without notifying the police could lead to legal consequences.
  • HotelJobber’s role ends once the candidate joins your organization. All employer organization policies must be documented properly, and the candidate’s signature should be obtained.
  • Employer must not mention any caste or religion while posting any job or content on this website.

Commercial Terms for the Candidate:

  • Candidates must not join the job without an appointment letter.
  • The salary must be declared on paper or in an appointment letter.
  • The date of the salary payment must be mentioned.
  • Candidates must adhere to job responsibilities and duties as outlined in the appointment letter.
  • Candidates must comply with working hours, including any overtime policies.
  • Leave policies, including annual leave, sick leave, and other types of leave, should be understood and followed.
  • Probation period details, if applicable, should be acknowledged.
  • Performance evaluation criteria and processes should be understood.
  • Candidates should be aware of terms regarding termination of employment, including notice periods.
  • Any additional benefits, such as bonuses, accommodation, or transportation, should be clarified.
  • Confidentiality agreements and non-compete clauses, if applicable, must be adhered to.
  • Dispute resolution mechanisms, such as mediation or arbitration, should be understood.
  • Candidates must not consume alcohol or any drugs during duty hours; failure to comply will result in immediate termination.
  • Candidates must wear proper uniforms and maintain personal hygiene at all times.

8. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Website, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

9. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of HotelJobber.com or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any content from the Website without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

HotelJobber.com is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website or the information provided. We do not guarantee that the Website will be available or error-free at all times.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Website at any time, with or without cause, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Website will cease immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
