Role Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Indian & Continental Chef who can craft flavourful dishes across both cuisines and manage large-scale food production. The ideal candidate will have strong operational skills, including budgeting, pricing, and waste control, and be capable of preparing meals for up to 200 guests, especially for weddings and special events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare authentic Indian and Continental dishes.
• Plan and execute catering for weddings/events (up to 200 guests).
• Standardize recipes and maintain portion control.
• Manage kitchen budgeting and food costing.
• Control inventory and minimize food waste.
• Source quality ingredients and manage suppliers.
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards.
• Train junior staff and supervise kitchen operations.
• Collaborate on seasonal and event menus.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Culinary Arts or Hotel Management certification.
• 5+ years of experience in Indian & Continental cuisine.
• Proven large-scale food production experience.
• Strong budgeting and waste management skills.
• Expertise in traditional and modern cooking techniques.
• Leadership and organizational skills.
• Tech-savvy and detail-oriented.
