Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafeteria & Food Court Manager to lead the daily operations of our vibrant dining facilities. The successful candidate will be passionately focused on ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, driving engaging experiences, and upholding the highest standards of food quality and service. This role requires a hands-on leader who can seamlessly manage day-to-day operations, coordinate effectively with catering supply partners, and implement robust quality assurance processes. Key Responsibilities I. Customer Satisfaction & Experience Enhancement Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers to solicit feedback, understand preferences, and build strong rapport. Experience Enhancement: Conceptualize and implement initiatives, promotions, and events (e.g., themed days, live counters, special menus for festivals) to enhance the dining experience and break monotony. Issue Resolution: Swiftly and effectively address customer concerns, complaints, and feedback to ensure high satisfaction levels. Ambiance Management: Oversee the cleanliness, presentation, and overall ambiance of the cafeteria and food court to create an inviting and comfortable dining environment. II. Daily Operations Management Supervision: Oversee all aspects of daily cafeteria and food court operations, including food preparation, serving, cleaning, and waste management. Staff Coordination: Coordinate on-site staff, ensuring proper rostering, task allocation, and adherence to service standards. Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, coordinating reorders as needed to prevent stockouts and minimize waste. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all kitchen and service equipment is in good working order, coordinating maintenance and repairs as required. Hygiene & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations and internal policies. III. Coordination with Catering Supply Partners Daily Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for daily coordination with catering supply partners, ensuring timely delivery of food and services. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of catering partners against agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards. Menu Collaboration: Work closely with catering partners on menu planning, rotation, and incorporating seasonal or special items based on customer feedback and trends. Feedback Loop: Provide regular, constructive feedback to catering partners on food quality, presentation, and service efficiency. IV. Quality Assurance & Reporting Quality Checks: Conduct regular checks on food quality, temperature, portioning, and presentation before and during service. Hygiene Audits: Implement and participate in daily self-audits and scheduled external audits to ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP principles). Data Collection & Reporting: Collect and analyze operational data, including sales figures, customer feedback, inventory levels, and incident reports. Performance Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on cafeteria performance, key metrics, and operational challenges to senior management. Incident Management: Document and address any operational incidents, including food safety concerns or customer complaints, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly. Skills: Customer-Centric: Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and service. Operational Excellence: Strong understanding of food service operations, quality control, hygiene protocols, and inventory management. Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and partners. Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Leadership: Proven ability to motivate, train, and manage a diverse team. Reporting & Analysis: Basic proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report generation. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
