Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
Guest Interaction:
Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
Present menus and provide detailed information about dishes, ingredients, and specials.
Offer menu recommendations and upsell products as appropriate.
Order Taking and Delivery:
Take accurate food and drink orders, often using a POS system or order slips.
Communicate orders to kitchen and bar staff for preparation.
Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and accurate manner.
Table Maintenance:
Set tables with linens, silverware, and glassware.
Clear tables of used dishes, glasses, and silverware to maintain a tidy dining area.
Ensure the overall cleanliness and presentation of the dining room.
Customer Service & Problem Solving:
Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints.
Handle customer complaints with patience and professionalism.
Process payments and deliver checks accurately.
Operational Support:
Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials or changes to the menu.
Follow health and safety regulations for food handling.
Maintain a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests
