Core Responsibilities
Guest Service: Greet and seat guests, present menus, and explain daily specials.
Order Management: Take accurate food and drink orders, relaying them to the kitchen via POS systems or order slips.
Table Service: Deliver food and beverages promptly, monitor guest needs (e.g., refilling drinks), and clear tables between courses.
Sales & Upselling: Recommend appetizers, desserts, or pairings to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Payment Processing: Prepare itemized checks and handle cash or card transactions accurately.
Side Work: Perform opening/closing duties such as polishing cutlery, rolling silverware, and restocking service stations.
