The Restaurant Manager at Sentosa Resorts will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of quality in service and operations. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, operational expertise, and a customer-focused mindset to the role, ensuring that the restaurant aligns with the resort’s overall vision of hospitality excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Operational Management
• Supervise day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring all activities are aligned with brand standards.
• Develop and implement operational policies to maintain smooth workflows.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless guest service.
Team Leadership
• Recruit, train, and mentor restaurant staff to provide exceptional service.
• Create staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage during peak and non-peak hours.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve team efficiency.
Guest Experience
• Ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience by addressing concerns and resolving complaints promptly.
• Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retain loyal patrons.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements accordingly.
Financial and Inventory Management
• Prepare budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability.
• Monitor and analyze sales reports to identify opportunities for growth.
• Oversee inventory management to avoid shortages and reduce wastage.
Compliance and Safety
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain restaurant licenses and certifications as per local regulations.
Marketing and Promotions
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns.
• Host special events or themed nights to attract new customers.
Vendor and Supplier Relations
• Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
• Negotiate contracts to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
Skills:
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and financial statements.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and service protocols.
• Proficiency in restaurant management software is an advantage.
