Job Title: Operations Manager - QSR Chain Cafe Location: Goa, India About Us: The Waffle Bar is a rapidly growing Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chain, known for its delightful Dessert offerings. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the smooth functioning of all our outlets in Goa. Job Summary: As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our QSR chain cafes across Goa. You will be responsible for managing store operations, coordinating with store managers, handling reports, overseeing the hiring process, addressing store issues, and conducting store audits. Full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities: 1. Store Operations Management: • Oversee day-to-day operations of all outlets in Goa to ensure a seamless customer experience. • Implement and enforce standardized operating procedures to maintain consistency of products and processes across stores. • Smooth operations of all online delivery partners (Swiggy/Zomato). 2. Inventory Management • Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to ensure adequate stock levels and liaise with new vendors to streamline regular supplies and costs. • Implement inventory control measures to minimize wastage and maximize profitability. 3. Sales and Marketing • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth across all QSR chain cafes. • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for increased profitability. • Implement initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer engagement. • Utilize social media platforms, email marketing, and other digital channels to promote specials, events, and loyalty programs 4. Liaison with Store Managers: • Work closely with store managers, kitchen staff, and support teams to ensure smooth coordination and communication. • Provide guidance and support to resolve operational challenges at the store level. 5. Reports Handling: • Generate and analyse operational reports like food cost, wastage, variance etc to identify areas of improvement and efficiency. • Present regular reports to the senior management team, like P&L of each store, highlighting key performance indicators and suggesting strategies for sales and profit enhancement. 6. Hiring and Training: • Participate in the recruitment process for store-level positions, ensuring a high-quality team is in place. • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of store staff. • Conduct regular training sessions on new processes, products, and service protocols 7. Issue Resolution: • Act as a point of contact for addressing and resolving store-level issues promptly. • Implement corrective measures to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction. 8. Store Audits: • Conduct regular audits of store operations to ensure compliance with company standards and policies. • Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements based on audit findings. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. • Proven experience in operations management within the QSR or hospitality industry. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions to drive operational excellence. • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
