Job for Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly committed, jack-of-all-trades House/Estate Manager to act as a liaison between residents and the numerous aspects of estate maintenance and household management. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations and maintenance of two properties, including a private residence, offering a perfect blend of luxury and professional growth. Responsibilities Hire, train and lead daily housekeeping, personal, outdoor maintenance (landscaping and pool) and security staff to ensure that the residence is well-maintained and secured at all times. Oversee cleaning, technical, utility and other services (both the interior and exterior) to ensure upkeep of the house. Consistently implement standard work procedures as defined by the house owner to ensure staff adheres to high standards of cleanliness. Oversee areas cleaned by housekeeping staff and report any issues such as damage or maintenance requests to the homeowner. Oversee the scheduling of necessary repair or maintenance work. Greet and seat guests in a professional manner upon arrival. Assist family members with personal shopping, travel planning and other general needs. Oversee the full spectrum of any renovation or construction work across both properties. Handle all estate and house management matters with utmost discretion, precision and professionalism. Ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly, from managing staff across owner’s properties to overseeing the maintenance and security of all properties. Represent the home owner and family within the local and extended community with discretion, confidentiality and gracious behavior. Requirements High school diploma required, advanced degree preferred in relevant field. Highest level of personal service experience as a butler or footman with private families, and/or HNI/UHNI individuals. Experience in property management, real estate, household management or business administration, and in hiring and leading housekeeping staff. Conversational language skills in English, Kannada and Hindi required. Strong and effective communication skills Proper social etiquette, local cultural knowledge and problem-solving skills. Basic technical understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems and property security. Proficiency in areas of finance, MS Excel, planning, organization, project and time management, vendor negotiation, purchasing and inventory management (preferred, not required). Ability to uphold utmost discretion in all matters related to the estate and its residents, ensuring that the estate remains a sanctuary away from the public eye.
