**Position:** Head Chef
**Location:** Villa Altona, Porvorim, Goa
**Employment Type:** Full-time
**Reports To:** Villa Manager/owner/partner
5 star hotel/property experience preferred.
### About the Role
Villa Altona, A Luxury 6BHK property located at the hills of socorro, is looking for a talented Head Chef to lead our culinary operations in our commercial kitchen facility. The ideal candidate will create exceptional dining experiences for our guests while managing kitchen operations and staff.
### Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Manage commercial kitchen operations and food preparation
- Create customised menus based on guest preferences and dietary requirements
- Supervise sous chef and kitchen staff
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and safety standards
- Manage food procurement, inventory, and cost control
- Train and develop kitchen team members
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards
- Coordinate with butler/host team for service timing
- Handle special dietary requirements and allergies
### Required Qualifications
- Culinary degree or diploma from recognised institute
- Minimum 5-8 years experience in luxury hospitality kitchens
- Expertise in Indian, Continental, and Goan cuisines
- Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
- Inventory management and cost control experience
- Creative menu planning abilities
