Job Description – Executive Chef

Position: Executive Chef
Reports to: Operations Head / Restaurant Owner
About Us
Khan Saheb Grills & Rolls is a leading QSR brand, known for authentic grills, kebabs, and signature rolls delivered with consistency, speed, and great taste. We are expanding our operations and looking for an experienced Executive Chef who can lead our kitchen team, ensure quality, and drive culinary excellence while maintaining the efficiency standards of a QSR setup.
Key Responsibilities
Menu Management & Standardization:
Develop, refine, and standardize recipes for all menu items with a focus on consistency, speed, and cost efficiency.
Introduce seasonal specials and innovative dishes aligned with the brand identity.
Kitchen Operations & Team Management:
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper training, discipline, and performance.
Ensure adherence to portion control, presentation, and taste standards.
Quality & Hygiene Control
Enforce strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in line with FSSAI guidelines.
Conduct regular audits of kitchen processes and equipment.
Maintain high standards of taste and consistency across outlets.
Inventory & Cost Management:
Oversee procurement of raw materials, vendor negotiations, and stock control.
Monitor food cost, wastage, and portion sizes to meet budgeted targets.
Ensure cost-effective kitchen operations without compromising quality.
Training & Development:
Train staff on culinary techniques, kitchen safety, hygiene, and QSR speed service standards.
Build a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Qualifications & Skills
3-7 years of culinary experience with at least 1–2 years in a QSR or casual dining leadership role.
Strong expertise in Indian grills, kebabs, tandoor, and Mughlai based menus.
Proven ability to manage kitchen operations at scale with high order volumes.
Strong leadership, team-building, and training skills.
Excellent knowledge of food costing, kitchen budgeting, and vendor management.
