Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and independent Private Chef to manage the kitchen and dining for the owner's villa. As this is a solo role, the candidate must be capable of handling all kitchen operations—including menu planning, sourcing ingredients, cooking, and maintaining total kitchen hygiene—without the assistance of a helper.
1. Culinary Excellence
Prepare high-quality, nutritious, and delicious meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) for the owners and their guests.
Ability to cook a variety of cuisines (e.g., North/South Indian, Basic Continental, and local Goan).
Customize meals based on dietary preferences or health requirements.
2. End-to-End Kitchen Management
Solo Operations: Handle all prep work (chopping, marinating) and cooking independently.
Procurement: Manage the sourcing of fresh ingredients, groceries, and pantry supplies. Ensure only the best quality produce is used.
Deep Cleaning: Responsible for the complete cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing utensils, cleaning the stove/counters, and maintaining the refrigerator.
3. Inventory & Budgeting
Maintain a stock of essential ingredients to ensure no "out-of-stock" situations.
Keep an organized record of kitchen expenses and bills for monthly settlement.
4. Hygiene & Standards
Maintain the highest standards of personal and kitchen hygiene.
Ensure proper food storage and waste disposal.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Chef in a reputable restaurant, hotel, or as a Private Chef for high-profile individuals.
Autonomy: Must be comfortable working alone and taking full ownership of the kitchen.
Skills: Excellent time management (ensuring meals are served punctually).
Personality: Discreet, honest, and professional. Must respect the privacy of the owner’s home.
Mobility: A valid driving license and own vehicle (for grocery shopping) is highly preferred.
