Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled South Indian Cook (Dosa Master) to prepare and serve authentic South Indian breakfast dishes as per our menu. The ideal candidate should have expertise in making different varieties of Dosa, Idli, and Wada, maintaining taste consistency, hygiene standards, and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook all South Indian breakfast items including Dosa, Uttappa, Idli, Medu Wada, Dal Wada, Mix Wada, and other specialties listed in the Dosa Junction menu.
• Ensure taste, texture, and presentation consistency across all dishes.
• Prepare batter and chutneys (Coconut, Tomato, and Sambar) fresh every day.
• Handle different Dosa types such as Plain, Masala, Onion, Garlic, Paper, Mysore Masala, and Spring Dosa with perfection.
• Manage kitchen operations efficiently during peak hours.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the kitchen area.
• Monitor and minimize food wastage.
• Assist in inventory management of ingredients and raw materials.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely order delivery.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with team members.
Requirements:
• Proven experience (minimum 2–3 years preferred) as a South Indian Cook or Dosa Maker.
• Expertise in preparing Dosa varieties, Idli, Wada, Uttappa, and other traditional breakfast items.
• Knowledge of batter preparation, chutney varieties, and sambar consistency.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must maintain personal hygiene and food safety standards.
• Punctual, reliable, and customer-focused.
• Preference for candidates from South India or those trained in authentic South Indian cuisine.
