Job Description:
-
We are currently seeking a Captain to lead floor service in our restaurant at Fairmount Shimla Forest Greens, a boutique forest retreat perched amidst the deodars of Shimla at over 7,500 ft. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in hospitality, sharp guest-handling instincts, and a track record of leadership and accountability on the floor. Responsibilities include overseeing guest reservations, supervising and mentoring the service team, ensuring seamless operations through every meal period, overseeing room service delivery and standards, and coordinating closely with the kitchen and bar teams. The Captain also takes the lead in managing service for corporate events, weddings, and wellness and yoga retreats hosted at the property, ensuring every occasion - from an intimate retreat dinner to a full-scale celebration - runs with precision and care. The role calls for someone who can resolve guest concerns with poise, take ownership of outcomes on the floor, uphold Fairmount's refined standard of service across every setting, and bring quiet confidence and attention to detail to the team. If you're ready to lead with accountability in a setting far removed from the pace of a city hotel, we'd love to have you join our team.
