Job for All Rounder Chef

Job Description:

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Cook and Kitchen hand to prepare delicious meals according to menu. She/He will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery. You must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking works. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. Responsibilities and Duties 1. Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment 2. Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) 3. Cook food in various utensils or grillers. 4. Check food while cooking to stir or turn 5. Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served 6. Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen 7. Ensure all food and other items are stored properly 8. Check quality of ingredients 9. Monitor stocks and co-ordinate with cafe manager for quality food and service. 10.Assist in miscellaneous tasks if required. 11.Attend workshops/courses to be at par with industry standards. 12.Should be experienced or have basic knowledge of operation and preparation of cafe food menu
