Junior Boba Barista
Job Summary:
As a Junior Boba Barista at Thamarai Foods and Trading, you will be the showrunner to create an exceptional experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving a variety of bubble tea blends and East-Asian style desserts, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will also be playing a crucial role in providing customer-oriented and unforgettable services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the art of beverage and dessert making, a keen attention to detail, and a friendly demeanour that enhances the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve a variety of bubble tea blends with precision and consistency.
* Prepare, execute, and assemble a wide array of East Asian pastries and desserts. Training will be provided.
* Follow standardized recipes and techniques to ensure the quality and authenticity of each beverage and pastry.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper care and cleaning of equipment.
* Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders, answering customer inquiries, and offering recommendations.
* Proactively engage in the sales of products and membership.
* Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive and efficient work environment.
* Stay informed about product knowledge, including new menu items and ingredients.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines in the handling and preparation of food and beverages.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a barista, bar tender or in a similar role is preferred.
* Knowledge and passion for bubble tea and East Asian food.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
* Must adhere to food safety and hygiene standards. Benefits:
