Job Description: Indian Specialty Chef (Taiwan)
-Company: 10 Spices
-Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan (Shared-Kitchen Environment)
-Reporting to: Restaurant Owner/Manager
-Salary: 70,000-80,000 INR per month (Negotiable based on experience)
10 Spices is looking for a versatile and innovative Indian Chef to lead our culinary offerings in Taiwan. This role is unique as you will be working in a shared kitchen facility alongside a Japanese restaurant team. We require a professional who balances authentic Indian culinary skills with a modern, cooperative mindset and impeccable hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
-Culinary Excellence: Prepare high-quality dishes across multiple styles, including North Indian, Tandoor, Curry, South Indian, and Indian Fusion.
-Menu Innovation: Continuously develop new recipes and "fusion" ideas that appeal to both local and international palates in Taiwan.
-Kitchen Collaboration: Maintain a professional and harmonious relationship with the partner Japanese restaurant staff. Coordinate shared space and equipment usage efficiently.
-Hygiene & Safety: Uphold world-class cleanliness and food safety standards (HACCP/ISO standards) as expected in a high-end shared kitchen.
-Inventory Management: Manage kitchen stock, reduce wastage, and ensure the freshest ingredients are used.
Candidate Requirements
-Education: Must hold a Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (for Visa purposes).
-Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
-Communication: Ability to speak and understand Basic English is essential.
-Personality: Friendly, highly cooperative, and adaptable to multi-cultural environments.
-Legal: Must possess a valid Indian Passport and be able to provide original documents for Police Clearance (PCC) and Taiwan work permit processing.
